MG Construction Services Ltd was appointed as the Principal Contractor to deliver a complete Category B (CAT B) refurbishment of the historic Camden Town Hall building.

Scope of Works

The scope of works included:

• Complete internal refurbishment of office and event areas.

• Restoration of existing ceilings and walls, along with new lighting and M&E coordination.

• Installation of acoustic ceilings, decorative finishes, and feature lighting.

• Refurbishment of existing windows and timber joinery.

• Installation of new floor finishes and reconfiguration of internal layouts.

• Fire door upgrades and associated compliance works.

• Final decoration and fit-out to a high-end design standard.

Our team successfully managed all site operations, logistics, and health and safety in accordance with CDM Regulations 2015, ensuring smooth coordination among the design, mechanical, electrical, and architectural trades.

The result is a beautifully restored and modernised interior that preserves the building’s original character while meeting the client’s functional and aesthetic expectations.
