MG CS Construction Services Ltd has been appointed as the main contractor for the full delivery of the Arthur Street PBSA development in Edinburgh, with an estimated contract value of £4.5 million.

The project involves the complete demolition of an existing warehouse structure, including extensive strip-out, safe removal of structural steelwork, and management of all waste through licensed recycling facilities. Our in-house team has mobilised 32-tonne excavators, hydraulic shears, grabs, and site-specific attachments to handle high-volume demolition efficiently and safely.

Once the site is cleared, our team will commence all groundwork and construction operations leading up to the erection of the new PBSA scheme, as shown in the approved planning visuals (see CGI rendering).

The scheme includes:

• RC frame construction
• Steel installation and internal fit-out
